Delete your TheER account

TheER is a service of Evarya Health Private Limited. You can delete your account and personal data at any time, in the app or by email.

Delete it in the app

1. Open the TheER app (Android) or the web app, and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

You are signed out straight away and the account is closed.

Or ask us by email

If you can’t sign in, email [email protected] from the email address or with the mobile number registered on your account, and write “Delete my account”. We confirm within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 7 days.

What we delete

• As soon as you confirm: your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, blood group, allergies, ABHA ID and Google sign-in link. Your account is closed and can no longer be signed in to.
• If your account holds no medical records, we delete all of its data within 7 days.

What we keep, and for how long

• Triage results and consultation records, no longer linked to your name or contact details, for 7 years. Indian law requires medical records to be kept, and they are needed for clinical audit.
• Documents in your vault are medical records too. If you want them deleted as well, email us and we will remove them within 7 days, unless the law requires us to keep them.
• Payment records (amount, date and transaction reference), as required for accounting.
